New Play Development.

Reckless Rough Drafts are monthly workshop pilots to facilitate the development of new plays through the lens of a Reckless Daughter creative process.

Join us and 5 other artists for a full day workshop focusing on the collaborative development of your newest play/idea.

There are only 6 slots each workshop which are first-come-first-served. So register soon to grab your slot!

Logistics.

  • DATES: TBA

  • TIMES: 10 AM to 5 PM

  • LOCATION: TBA

  • COST: TBA

  • PREPARE:

    • One scene of no more than 5 pages with no more than 3 characters written by you. (This can be an excerpt).

      • This must be newly written (from a first draft or earlier)

    • Questions you’d like to have answered or considered about your scene.

    • Come both as a playwright and an actor. You will be reading scenes aloud.

  • AGE RESTRICTIONS: 18 +

What to Expect.

  • Full Day Workshop

  • 1 Hour Lunch Break

  • Collaborative discussion and feedback.

  • Casual atmosphere.

  • A reading and discussion of your scene.

  • 30-45 minutes of free writing time to advance your piece.

  • Potential cold reads of any new material after free writing, should time allow.
